Bookmaker.com’s odds on who will fill Simon Cowell’s shoes when he quits his position as judge of American Idol were featured on AOL Television. To help us through this potential transition, the folks at oddsmaker BookMaker.com has calculated the odds for who they believe will take the seat left vacant by Cowell. Topping their list is fellow Brit Piers Morgan, the most logical of all the choices. He sits alongside Cowell in judgment of the contestants of the UK version of ‘The X Factor,’ and his acerbic snark and wit is already known to Americans as one of the judges on NBC’s summer series ‘America’s Got Talent.’
The rest of their picks, with odds, are as follows:
Piers Morgan +200 (33%)
Sean “Diddy” Combs +300 (25%)
Quincy Jones +350 (22%)
Simon Fuller +600 (14%)
Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds +400 (20%)
Rob Stevenson +600 (14%)
Russell Simmons +250 (29%)
